This course provides a practical introduction to administering the IBM AIX operating system on IBM POWER servers. You will become familiar with the IBM POWER platform, the AIX environment, common installation methods and essential administration workflows for daily operations.
This hands-on course covers AIX topics including software and updates, device and LVM management, filesystems and backups and basic user and network administration. Exercises focus on practical commands and tools used in production environments.
