This course helps experienced Visual Studio and ADO.NET developers adopt modern, efficient approaches for the database layer using the Entity Framework. It explains conceptual modeling, practical Entity Data Model design, advanced LINQ to Entities querying and Entity SQL techniques.

Hands-on topics include CRUD operations, relationship mapping, stored procedures, and data binding for Windows Forms, WPF and ASP.NET. The course also covers Code First setup, POCO entities, mapping and relations and transactions and performance considerations.
