Aruba Switching BASIC is a technical course giving practical skills for basic design and implementation of wired networks on the Aruba CX platform. The training emphasizes hands-on labs and demonstrations using physical ArubaOS CX switches for real-world practice.

This hands-on training covers core ArubaOS CX features: VLANs and IP services, link aggregation, Spanning Tree and basic routing. Sessions mix configuration, troubleshooting and labs on physical switches to prepare you for deploying wired access and distribution networks.

  • Design and implement basic wired networks on Aruba CX
  • Configure VLANs, IP services and Layer 2 features
  • Set up link aggregation and port-channeling
  • Understand and tune Spanning Tree on ArubaOS CX

Do I need to bring my own laptop to the classroom IT course?Our training rooms are fully equipped, so you do not need to bring your own laptop. A modern computer with all necessary hardware and software is ready for you at your workstation.
