Asterisk PBX - administration and configuration (AST1)
Networking, IP Telephony
This course teaches participants all essential skills to successfully install, configure and manage the widely used open-source PBX Asterisk. It includes VoIP basics, practical administration, and hands-on work with dialplans, trunks and SIP accounts for daily operation.
Training normally uses the web GUI FreePBX for practical labs, but custom corporate courses can focus on the command-line environment by agreement. The course also covers SIP, IAX2, trunks, queues, conferencing, DAHDI and optional phone provisioning.
