DATA MODELING WITH POWERDESIGNER 16.7 (PWD2)

In this four-day course you'll learn to use PowerDesigner for conceptual and physical data modeling and for practical database design. Starting from a data specification you will create and extend models and prepare them for implementation.

You will also practice reverse engineering to produce models from existing databases and use the MetaWorks Repository for model sharing, versioning and team collaboration. Model comparison, synchronization and reporting are included.

THIS TRAINING COURSE WILL HELP YOU:

  • Create conceptual and logical data models
  • Generate and extend physical database models
  • Use reverse engineering to build models from databases
  • Share, version and synchronize models with MetaWorks

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

  • Data modelers and database designers
  • Database administrators and developers
  • Enterprise architects working with data models
  • Team leads involved in database projects
