This course is aimed at new FreeBSD users and covers core system administration concepts that apply across Unix variants like Linux or OpenBSD. You will study installation, package and ports management, system and network services and kernel building.

The training also addresses DNS, email and web services, including DNS zones and configuring Apache for virtual hosting. Sessions compare FreeBSD administration with other Unix systems and emphasize practical troubleshooting and hands-on tasks.
