JavaScript for Beginners (JVS1)

Programming, JavaScript

Learn to write and run your own JavaScript scripts directly in the browser, and understand core concepts like variables and data types, control structures and DOM manipulation to make web pages interactive and dynamic.

This practical course uses an interactive approach: you will use the browser console and debugger, test events and form validation, and learn AJAX to exchange data with servers, finishing each topic with hands-on examples and short exercises.

THIS TRAINING COURSE WILL HELP YOU:

  • Understand JavaScript syntax and data types
  • Declare variables, use if/switch and control program flow
  • Work with objects and built-in APIs like Date and Math
  • Create functions and manage variable scope
  • Manipulate the DOM, validate forms and use AJAX

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

  • Graduates of HTML and CSS courses
  • Beginning web developers seeking a solid JS base
  • Analysts and marketers automating web tasks
