Oracle APEX (Application Express) is an Oracle platform for rapid creation of modern web applications directly from your database. It helps you turn existing data into interactive reports, charts and forms accessible in a browser.

This course shows how to combine robust database logic with fast web development using APEX. You will cover PL/SQL integration, core security concepts and basic performance tuning to build secure, efficient apps.

    3. Request/Response cycle and Session State
    4. PL/SQL integration (processes, validations, custom DML)
    5. Page Designer – rendering vs processing
    6. Build your first app (report + form + adjust logic)
  • Advanced principles and practice
    1. Master–detail patterns and working with related data
    2. Manual page design without the wizard
    3. Session State management techniques
    4. Application security – implement authentication, authorization and roles
    5. SQL tuning in reports and caching strategies
    6. Capstone project: build a full CRUD app with real business logic and deployment
Assumed knowledge:
Good knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL and Oracle Database concepts is required.
