This course delivers a practical introduction to PostgreSQL administration, emphasizing deployment, configuration and everyday operations. It covers installation on Linux, Windows and containers, secure access, backup basics and initial performance tuning for production environments.
The training blends theory with hands-on demos and procedures to manage backups, WAL archiving and PITR. You will practice monitoring, maintenance tasks like VACUUM and autovacuum, and apply tuning and best practices to improve database reliability and performance.
