Programming in Qt Studio (QTS)

Microsoft, Programming

This course teaches developers to use the multiplatform Qt framework together with Qt Studio for building responsive desktop and embedded GUI applications. You will learn practical techniques: widgets and layouts, the event loop, model-view patterns and the signals and slots model.

You will also learn to implement application logic and persistent storage, work with databases, and build networked features using networking and sockets (TCP, UDP, FTP). The course shows memory leak detection techniques and internationalization for global apps.

THIS TRAINING COURSE WILL HELP YOU:

  • Develop cross-platform GUI applications with Qt Studio
  • Implement app logic using signals, slots, and event handling
  • Integrate databases, XML parsing and network protocols
  • Detect memory leaks, use multithreading and add localization

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

  • C++ developers new to Qt and GUI development
  • Engineers building cross-platform desktop or embedded apps
  • Developers working with databases or networked systems
  • Programmers needing debugging, multithreading, or i18n skills
