Proxmox VE – Troubleshooting, HA & Service Recovery (PROX3)

Virtualization, Proxmox

This course focuses on troubleshooting outages and recovering Proxmox VE environments. Through practical scenarios, you will work with disk, node and network failures, configuration errors, and the loss of virtual machines or containers. You will learn to assess the impact of a failure, choose an appropriate recovery procedure, and verify that the recovered environment is functioning correctly.

The course also covers configuration protection, virtual machine backups, snapshot management, and HA cluster behavior when one or more nodes fail. Attention is also given to Ceph recovery, loss of access, and issues following system updates.

THIS TRAINING COURSE WILL HELP YOU:

  • Design environments with component failures in mind
  • Back up configuration and virtual machines and prepare for their recovery
  • Distinguish between the uses of backups, snapshots and high availability
  • Troubleshoot node, disk, network and Ceph storage failures
  • Configure monitoring and alerts for early problem detection

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

  • Administrators with experience in basic Proxmox VE administration
  • Managers responsible for high availability, backup and disaster recovery
  • IT architects and DevOps specialists preparing resilient cluster environments
