This course introduces the VMware vSphere platform and ESXi server, focusing on practical security measures for virtual infrastructures, virtual machines and virtual networks. It suits administrators responsible for virtualization and security operations.

The training covers hardening of ESXi and vCenter, firewall and network policies, protection of guest OS and backup/restore with VMware Data Protection. You will learn encryption, certificate management, auditing and replication, plus tools like Update Manager and vShield.
