This course gives a practical introduction to voice networks running over TCP/IP, focusing on signaling, codecs, media handling and gateway functions. Hands-on labs let you deploy, test and troubleshoot live scenarios using VoIP principles, TCP/IP and Cisco hardware/software.

This hands-on training explores signaling protocols, call routing, numbering plans and gateway roles, plus quality of service and survivability features. You'll work with H.323 and SIP, dial-peer and numbering rules, QoS and gateway fax/IVR.
