This course is aimed at network security specialists who need deep, hands-on knowledge to deploy and operate Cisco firewalls. Participants study device features and workflows, and configure systems using both ASDM and CLI, gaining practical skills on Cisco ASA.

It covers configuring ports, VLANs, DHCP and detailed logging, implementing NAT translations and Access Control Lists, plus integrating the appliance into existing networks and ensuring secure, reliable operation through monitoring and maintenance.
