This hands-on workshop introduces the Unix environment on HP-UX, preparing participants for basic system administration and for further software development and system customization. It covers core concepts, common commands and administration tasks.

Participants will practice administration with hands-on labs to learn automation of routine tasks, work with the HP-UX file system and backup & recovery, and perform patching, kernel/driver configuration and system troubleshooting in practical lab exercises.
