This course guides you through configuring Linux mail services, explains the MTA role and shows practical Postfix deployment. You will set up SMTP, configure domain routing, and connect the mail system with LDAP for centralized accounts and address management.
The training covers virtual addresses and domains, mapping addresses to local accounts and creating domain mailboxes. You will install and manage OpenLDAP, learn LDAP objectClasses, and configure Postfix, IMAP and POP3 to use LDAP for authentication and user lookup.
