This course provides a structured introduction to Microsoft Azure, explaining core cloud principles such as IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, regions and high availability, and the Azure hierarchy so participants understand how services and subscriptions relate.

It includes hands-on labs for deploying a demo app, configuring access and monitoring with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights, plus cost control via Cost Management, budgets and tagging to prepare for governance and DevOps paths.
