This course teaches core concepts and capabilities of Azure SQL Database, the cloud service for managing relational databases, and introduces Azure SQL Managed Instance with its specific features. Practical tasks focus on setup, configuration and use.

After the course you'll be able to provision and manage Azure SQL Databases, understand differences from SQL Server, tune performance and security, and use Azure tools for monitoring, backups and operational maintenance.
