Java – Introduction to Programming (JAV1)

Programming, Java, Spring

This course is designed as a starting point for all who wish to delve into the world of object-oriented development in Java. Over three days, participants will master the basic syntax of the language, understand structures such as classes, objects, inheritance, and polymorphism, and learn to effectively use development environments (e.g., IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse). The program is structured as a lively workshop - with commented examples, interactive tasks, and immediate feedback from the instructor.

Practical exercises include working with data types, conditions, loops, and collections, and conclude with the creation of a simple console application. At the end, participants will verify the learned principles by designing their own mini-application. The course is conducted in Czech and takes place in a mix of lectures and hands-on tasks, allowing you to immediately apply your knowledge in practice.

THIS TRAINING COURSE WILL HELP YOU:

  • Navigate the basic syntax and development environment in Java.
  • Understand the key principles of OOP: objects, classes, inheritance, polymorphism.
  • Use data types, operators, program flow control (conditions, loops).
  • Work with simple collections and data strings.
  • Design and implement your own basic console application.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

  • Programmers with another language (e.g., Python, C#) who want to switch to Java.
  • IT enthusiasts who want to expand their programming skills.
  • Developers who want to gain a solid theoretical and practical foundation for further advanced courses (e.g., JAV2, Spring).
