The course prepares future IP telephony administrators for daily tasks: managing users, phones and designing a dial plan. It covers inbound and outbound number handling and practical hands-on labs using Cisco hardware and software.

The course includes CUCM setup, switch configuration (VLANs, QoS), protocols like H.323 and MGCP, SRST for branch resilience, third-party device integration, backup and recovery procedures, plus conferencing, MOH and transcoding topics.
